3-23-13 Commanche Cove Marina - St Augustine
Sweet mother of dogs above – I hate thunder !!!!!
The good news is we are back on the boat so i will be able to give you some more wag reviews.
Things have been going pretty well – we did not get to go to Marathon this year, my favorite place, but mom and dad did go for a quick trip and brought me back a tree load of coconuts, then my good friends Jim and Kathy came up from the Keys and brought me more coconuts – I don’t know what more I ever could ask for, except to not travel in thunder !!!!
That brings me to today – I was trying to convince my parents that we should not go today by refusing to pee before getting on the boat, then refusing get on the boat, then refusing to go up the ladder, but they did not get the hint. I could feel thunder in the distance even though the sun was out. I don’t know why, but I know thunder is coming even if it is about 20000 miles away.
So, long and the sort of it, we got on the boat, we left, it thundered , and thundered and thundered. Now I am usually quite brave – know to fight off whole boats of pirates – but his thunder thing knocks me to my knees. Did I mention I refused to pee before getting on the boat – big mistake…
Now the whole purpose of this report is tell you about the marina – but truth be told it is raining so hard, and so much thunder I have not crewsed around much yet. So tomorrow I hope to have a better report, that is if the boat does no sink with all of the water pouring in. Till then – Keep on Crewsing….
Sunday 3-24-13 Commanche Cove
Well that thunder kept bugging me until after my lunch but it finally cleared out. It was really windy but mom and dad took me for a good walk around the marina. This is a really big marina and there are lots of good smells. I can tell you this though, whatever you do, if you want walk through the outside seating area of the Grill fish restaurant, and you don’t think you parents are looking, don’t lift your leg and pee on chair, just trust me don’t do it……….
All in all this is a good marina worthy of four wags – the only problem is I saw a pirate boat go out here this morning so I was barked like crazy, if they know what is good for them, they won’t be trying to sneak back in here by me !

Wed. 3-27-13 Ortega Landing - Jacksonville
I am named Crew for reason – I am the boat Crew, however, that does not mean that I am always a big fan of boating. Monday Dad and Mom decided it was time to go in a windstorm, up a busy freeway, in the freezing cold. It took us about a week to get here, and I had not planned on such a long trip and I really had to pee by the time we pulled in. Our boat is at the end of the t-dock which is about two miles from the land. It is a really long walk for me to go to pee which I love, but mom and dad not so much. It was going pretty well here till our boat got all full of mosquitos. Our friend Vern told my dad the best way to get rid of them is the vacuum cleaner – are you kidding ? I know I mentioned that I hate thunder, but the only thing worse is the vacuum clearer – this trip is turning out to be torture for me ! First thunder, now the vacuum every five seconds. At least my dad took me out for a really good run and ball chasing in the field. Well, it seemed like fun till we got back to the boat. My mom was patting me, and then starting yelling all about me being covered with burrs, honestly they we not bothering me at all but the next thing I know she has got the brush out and is ripping large patches of hair off of me, and I am pretty sure there was some skin attached to some that hair. More torture, I don’t know how much one guy can take. My grandma is moving to Flagler Beach any day now. Once we get the call the mover has arrived, we are out of here and I am going to help her move – the sooner the better ! When will this torture end ?
